Race Night Overview
The Ravenswood Swimming Club offers club racing for all members regularly, aiming to deliver three per term, and up to 12 for the year. Fundraising is an integral part of club meets and can often occur through sausage sizzles on offer in terms 1 and 4. Sausage sizzles are also a great opportunity for the Clubs community to come together for a social event.
Race Nights are focused on encouraging members whilst providing opportunities for them to experience the enjoyment of competition swimming and the refinement of race skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Members 12 and under must be signed in and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Where possible the Ravenswood Swimming Club will offer 2 officially timed events and 1 team based event per term. Meets are programmed to include a selection of events from 25m up to 1500m.
The Race Night calendar is published at the beginning of each season and is updated regularly.
