Yes. We accept both students from Ravenswood and children from the wider community.
Class times will depend on the level in which your child is placed.
Learn to Swim classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, as well as on Saturday mornings.
The Squad program runs each weekday afternoon, and in the morning on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

While regular swimming classes are paused over school holidays, we provide Swim Intensive Holiday Programs every school holiday period.
While The pool is on the Ravenswood School for Girls campus at 10 Henry Street, Gordon. Entrance to the pool is via Gate 1 (the school entrance on Henry Street) or Gate 12 (on Ravenswood Avenue).
There is free parking along Ravenswood Avenue, Henry Street or in the multi-storey carpark across the road from the School.

All students should bring swimwear, a towel, goggles, a swim cap and a water bottle. Students in the Squad program are also required to bring a kit bag with fins, a kickboard and a pull buoy.
Learn to Swim classes typically run for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the student’s age and level. Squad classes run for 1 hour to 2 hours, depending on the level.
All students under the age of 10 must always have a parent or adult carer with them for supervision purposes.
All students are entitled to one make-up class per enrolment, per term. Make-ups can be booked via the swim school office or through the SimplyPortal app. Notice of absence must be provided at least 2 hours before the start of the lesson. Make-ups expire after 60 days and are subject to availability. Any additional missed lessons throughout the term are forfeited unless a medical certificate is provided.
Yes. Download the SimplyPortal app to view your child’s upcoming classes and track their progress, as well as to view term dates, make payments, notify us of an absence and book make-up lessons.
Download the SimplyPortal app via the Google or Apple app store. Type ‘SimplyPortal’ then use location code b110316. Families can create a new account using the email address given on the enrolment form.
All new students are required to come in for a swim assessment before enrolling, to confirm their level in the program. Please contact the Ravenswood swimming office to organise a swim assessment by completing the Contact Us form.
