NSW Senior State Age Championships

During the first fortnight of December the NSW Senior State Age Championships were held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre over 7 days. The competition consists of heats and finals where swimmers compete throughout the morning to aim to achieve a finals swim in the evening.

Ravenswood Swimming Club had 20 representatives consisting of 12 individuals and an additional 8 relay only members.

  • Finalists – This year we had three swimmers represent in finals. Daniel Lawrence, Kirrily Woods and Consuela Zhang. Congratulations to all and this is a wonderful achievement.
  • National QT – Congratulations to Annabelle Scarlet, Cameron Lawrence and Georgie Fife on achieving national age times in their selected events. Congratulations to Daniel Lawrence who achieved national open qualifying times.
  • Relays – Across the week we had 9 relays complete with almost all the teams coming away with a team personal best.
